About Me

My whole life, I've been fascinated how images, words and music shape and enrich our lives…change our minds, make us feel different. I've been drawing and writing since I was able -and singing and playing music as long as I can remember.

Over the past 15 years I have learned to blend my creative and artistic passion with my sense of people and place within the business community. I'm so grateful to be able to help people grow their business or organization and truly love what I do for a living.

Tribe2 graphic design From 2004 through 2010, I ran Tribe2 studios. We did all sorts of design and creative work around the Couve and beyond. Through the experience of running a small firm and working with many different clients, sub-contractors and specialists throughout the Portland-Vancouver region, I've come to know and trust many talented and stand up folks who kick ass at what they do. It's been great to work with some of the best around and continue to grow.

Recording at the Farm Recording Studio

Outside the Design realm I fill my time with creative projects, outdoor adventures, dogs, recording and performing music, reading, traveling, wrestling with my nephews, watching Asian horror movies and an ever evolving spiritual practice.

I also work as a producer and engineer at The Farm Recording Studios, a retreat style studio in Washougal WA. I help bands and artists by doing a lot of different things. From co-writing and producing to laying tracks, engineering, mixing, performing live, CD artwork, T-shirt, website, and poster design. It's really amazing to see an artist arrive with a voice and guitar and walk away with so much more. Currently I'm recording my own music and planning a release later this year. Whoop whoop.

Vancouver's Downtown Association

Vancouver's Downtown Association I've been a board member of Vancouver's Downtown Association since 2009. I currently serve on the promotions committee. We help organize and put on events and activities downtown as part of a wider VDA mission. This is a great organization with some incredible folks behind the scenes and it's an honor to work with them. Interested in joining us?

Washington State University

Washington State University Vancouver I also serve on advisory council for Washington State University's Creative Media & Digital Culture Program headed by Dr. Dene Grigar. This program is focused on preparing students to not only thrive in the new media world, but to how turn their ideas into world changing technologies and programs.

Regional Economic Development Campaign

Portland Vancouver USA Land Here Live Here I've been involved over the last year with a great group of folks working their collective asses off to bring the bold idea of regionalism to Portland-Vancouver. The first campaign of it's kind, dubbed "Land Here, Live Here" has actually got Portland and Vancouver economic development teams working toward a common goal: Regional Awareness.
